Acting quickly in the first few minutes of a dental emergency can make a real difference in the outcome.
Knocked-out tooth: Handle by the crown only; do not touch the root. Rinse gently with water and keep the tooth moist in milk or saliva. Get to us within 30–60 minutes for the best chance of saving it.
Chipped or broken tooth: Rinse your mouth with warm water. Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek to reduce swelling. Save any tooth fragments if possible.
Lost filling or crown: Avoid chewing on that side. A small amount of dental cement from a pharmacy can temporarily protect the area until your appointment.
Abscess or swelling: Do not apply heat. Rinse with warm salt water to manage discomfort, and contact us immediately; oral infections can spread if left untreated.

We also accept most major private insurance plans and offer direct billing, so you're not paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement.

Important note: We do not use U.S.-based Medicaid or HMO plans. For Ontario patients, relevant programs include CDCP, private insurance, and direct billing through providers such as Sun Life, Manulife, and Green Shield.
